We are very pleased to announce that SCHEIDEGGER Fernsteuerungen AG has found a successor in STEBATEC. STEBATEC has taken over 100% of the shares from the Scheidegger family, so that together we can consolidate the position of the leading automation company for drinking water suppliers in the Bern/Solothurn region, founded in 1970.

On the occasion of the company’s 30th anniversary, Stebatec could realize another very renowned project. Wasserverbund Seeland AG is a partner plant of Energie Service Biel/Bienne, Energie Seeland AG and Seeland Water Supply SWG and provides a large part of the drinking water supply for around 30 communities in the Bernese Seeland with over 100,000 inhabitants.

The end of analog telephone services also marks the end of the so far power failsafe landline system. Consequently, the towns of Biel, Burgdorf and Grenchen had to convert the alarm systems of their outdoor structures to 4G technology as a futureproof and long-term viable solution.

Region Olten, ARA Winznau

On the way to the most modern sewer network in Switzerland

The Zweckverband der Abwasserregion Olten (ZAO) is an association of 13 municipalities which treat their wastewater in the WWTP Winznau. The WWTP itself was and is already the subject of refurbisching measures, but other structures in the sewer network also showed a considerable need for refurbischment, including pumping stations and storm water tanks.
