Online drinking water quality monitoring

Detect and localise drinking water contamination at an early stage with online measurements and combination measurements

Drinking water quality monitoring; services and systems

To ensure compliance with food legislation, we support drinking water supply companies with the following services:

  • Definition of possible and already known potential sources of contamination and hazards
  • Quality assurance system for self-monitoring and for online drinking water monitoring and early detection of contamination
  • Definition of the measurement parameters and measurement locations taking into account existing laboratory results from the past
  • Development of a measuring concept and selection of suitable measuring instrument manufacturer
  • Installation and commissioning of the measuring systems and the ALLinONE evaluation system
  • Operational support and optimisation

Data recording, evaluation and alarming as an early warning system and for quality monitoring

Our ALLinONE system for monitoring drinking water quality can be installed directly in the water-carrying pipeline to be monitored or on a reference line installed for analysis. The system offers the following advantages in water supply operation:

  • Recording of concentrations between sampling or laboratory analyses
  • Limit value monitoring of individual parameters and evaluation of combined measured variables / correlation
  • Targeted alerting with detailed alarm message

Advantages

Detection of reference and interference sources by means of evaluation of combined measured variables

The number of parameters to be measured is adapted to the local situation and the potential sources of danger. Depending on the reference or hazard source, the following measurement parameters can be reduced or expanded depending on the situation:

  • Detection River water: measurement parameters conductivity (salinity), turbidity (particles), SAK254 (dissolved organic load), nitrate (agriculture), redox (organics), temperature, pH,
  • Surface water: conductivity, chloride, DOC, Redox, temperature, pH,
  • Wastewater: Turbidity, SAK254, Conductivity, Redox, Temperature, pH, E.Coli
