STEBAjet – the swivelling jet cleaner

The STEBAjet keeps solids and contaminants in suspension whilst draining rain water tanks, ensuring they are transported to the sewage treatment works along with the wastewater.

An optional suction pipe allows the unit to operate until the tank is completely drained.

The water-air mixture ensures efficient mixing and prevents deposits from forming on the tank floor.

The STEBAjet is suitable for both new builds and for retrofitting existing rain water tanks.

Thanks to its unique pneumatic rotary drive, the STEBAjet jet can cover large areas and thus clean tanks where, previously, several fixed jets were required. Available with either a 90° or 150° rotary drive.

    In installations in enclosed basins, the STEBAjet switches off immediately when the access hatch is opened.
  • Automatic functional test
    Regular self-tests ensure operational readiness – even during prolonged periods without rain.The test is time-controlled based on a freely definable weekday and a start time.

Properties

  • Robust and efficient
    The STEBAjet consists of a submersible sewage pump with an injector, or rather an air intake pipe and a jet pipe, whereby a water-air mixture is pumped to create a roller with a lifting effect in the tank’s water. The STEBAjet can be installed in new tanks or retrofitted into existing ones.
  • High efficiency
    Thanks to its pneumatically triggered swivelling motion – which can be precisely adjusted using limit switches – the STEBAjet covers a large area of the rain water tank. The cleaning jet keeps solids and contaminants suspended, ensuring they are flushed away with the water during the emptying process. A key advantage over other cleaning techniques is that the STEBAjet suffers no loss of effectiveness, regardless of the basin’s geometry, gradient or supports.
  • Ground-level cleaning
    The STEBAjet can be supplied with an additional suction pipe, which draws water from a depression in the basin, thereby enabling the STEBAjet to operate until the basin is completely emptied.
