The Board of Directors of STEBATEC, comprising 20 members, today honoured its founder, Hanspeter Gafner, on the occasion of his 75th birthday by conferring upon him the title of “Honorary President” of the Board. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Chairman of the Board Kilian Hesse emphasised in his laudatory speech the defining influence of Hanspeter Gafner’s work on the STEBATEC of today.
Hanspeter Gafner is still regarded as the architect of the business model and the inventor of numerous solutions and products that remain in use to this day. He had already sold STEBATEC to the current owners back in 2011.
