LDM partially filled Flow measurement

Ultrasonic transit time difference flow measurement for wastewater, raw wastewater and rainwater

High precision flow value acquisition

The double-patented LDM partially filled ultrasonic transit time difference flow meter is a calibrated measuring device for backflow-free detection of wastewater volumes in open channels or in gravity pipes. 10 flow velocity measuring sections distributed over the entire cross section provide accurate flow values when the sensor is partially or fully filled. The level measurement is integrated in the device housing.

Versatile system

The contamination-resistant system is suitable for water, rainwater, sewage, raw sewage as well as biologically and chemically contaminated waste water, as well as suitable for media with variable conductivity. The powerful measuring device measures even the smallest filling levels extremely reliably.

Quick and easy assembly

The LDM is available without flanges and is clamped between two pipes with bolts / threaded rods. This versatile measuring device does not need to be calibrated on site, as the calibration is done completely at the manufacturing site.

Technical information

The LDM system is available from DN150 to DN1200 and is very resistant to abrasion and chemicals. All relevant elements of the robust construction have an ATEX approval (zone 1).

  • Flow measurement at the highest level

Flow measurement at the highest level

The system measures even the lowest levels with maximum reliability. Maximum precision in flow measurement is ensured by 10 flow velocity measuring sections distributed across the entire cross-section.

  • Different device variants

    Different device variants

The LDM has the following device variants:

    • Different nominal sizes (see also product documentation, section 4.1 “Dimensions and weights”)
    • As part of a PNA (pneumatic discharge control from Stebatec)
    • As measuring point without connection to a PNA
