«I was recruited by a colleague who was already working at STEBATEC. As an automation and systems engineer, I fulfil the function of a SPS programmer here. In concrete terms, that means: I develop programmes that control the motors of our plants, for example. But I’m also out on the road, for example to put the systems in question into operation. This is done all over Switzerland. I like that, because we make a good team. One of my hobbies is ice hockey. But above all, I help to maintain and expand our club’s 2 x 25 metre model railway. The installation is located in Balsthal in an old wagon.»
